Karl Spoerri is co-founder and artistic director of the Zurich Film Festival (ZFF). The ZFF has become one of Europe's most relevant film festivals in the past years and continues to grow from strength to strength. Spoerri is also involved in film financing and producing: He co-financed and co-produced such films as Oliver Stone's "W." (2008) or David Cronenberg's "A Dangerous Method" (2011) starring Keira Knightley and Viggo Mortensen. His latest project as executive producer is "The Old Man and the Gun" starring Robert Redford. Since 2010, he is the chairman of the Zurich Summit (former Film Finance Forum), an international entertainment forum that takes place annually in Los Angeles, New York, Cannes, Moscow, Singapore, and Zurich.
