Marinka Stern was born in Jezersko. But she moved to Ljubljana very soon. She studied acting on AGRFT (Academy for acting and directing). She is a member of Mladinsko theatre since 1975. Is in a relationship with Matjaz Faric, one of the best Slovenian choreographer and director. She is best known for her role performance in films such as Carmen, Sladke sanje, Predmestje and Slepa pega.
