Ramon Sylvan, born 1933 in Stockholm, was a Swedish actor, stunt man, stage-manager, model, bouncer and athlete. His father, Georg Sylvan, was a boxer and entertainer, while the mother Ester Ottilia Nygren was a performer as the power woman Miss Arona. Ramon was eyed as the friendly bouncer at a Stockholm restaurant, and hired to do the actor Nils Asther's body guard in the movie "Svenska Floyd" in 1961. In all he appeared in ten feature films and television productions. Ramon Sylvan became a celebrity in 1970 when he portrayed the strong man, opposite the slim man Lasse Åberg, in the very popular milk-commercial "The Chest-Expander". Among all the odd jobs and recognition he received his wish to be chosen as villain in any James Bond film. But that never happened.Ramon Sylvan passed away in 2012 after a period of illness and failing health.
