Edoardo Bruno

After his single trial at film directing in 1969, he became a regular film critic in foreign (article on 'Roberto Rosselini' in "Framework", 1979) and local magazines, until founding a reference film magazine, "filmcritica", that he also directs. Through "filmcritica", he is involved with the study, retrospectives and award presentations to distinguished film directors since 1980 - the Premio Filmcritica: Maestri del Cinema (Filmcritica Award: Masters of Cinema) - such as René Clair, 'Luís Buñuel', Jean Cocteau, Jean-Luc Godard or 'Manuel de Oliveira'.
