Major Brock

Major L. Brock Sr. was born on September 3, 1916 in Lake End, Red River Parish, Louisiana. The son of Hardy Brock and Stella Holly Brock, Major also had a brother named Johnny. Brock worked as a baggage handler for Delta Airlines for 31 years. Director Jim McCullough Sr. persuaded Major to play crusty old carpenter Crewshaw in the horror slasher cult favorite Mountaintop Motel Massacre (1983). Brock died at age 85 on November 22, 2001 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was survived by his son Major L. Brock Jr. and second wife Beverly Myres Brock.
