Koji Shiozawa was born on July 5, 1957 in Yamanashi, Japan. He is a Japanese TV Producer, Director and former employee of Fuji TV and Kyodo TV. When he was in Junior high school, Koji watched Toei's yakuza movies and he was so impressed he created a movie research club so that he could discover and learn more about films and filmmaking. In high school, he shot his first short documentary film with an 8mm camera. In 1987, Koji started working on Kyodo TV where as a producer he was directly involved in creating a number of hits for the company. In 1992, Koji transferred to Fuji TV where we had further success producing numerous hits such as "Sugao no mamade", "Okaneganai" and "Yonimokinyouna Monogatari". Around this time, he also wrote a column in a women's magazine and was exposed to the media outside of television. In 1997, he left Fuji TV and secured a position as head of vehicle coordination for the 1998 Nagano Olympic Broadcasting industry assisted Torch Relay. After that he began his career as a film director. He also works on V-cinema and gravure idol's Promotion Videos.
