Sarah Schroeder-Matzkin is an actress and producer, known for Man in the Chair (2006). She was born in a small town in Idaho, and is the youngest of eight children. Growing up with 7 siblings there was no shortage of encouragement or entertainment when it came to singing, dancing, and acting. During the summers of her high school years, she worked with her brother Kelly Schroeder, who was a director, AD, and producer of movies, TV, and music videos. She later went to college on an academic and basketball scholarship, graduating with a BA in Finance. Throughout college and several years after in Australia, she modeled for Quick Silver, Hot Tuna and Billabong and played professional basketball for the Perth Eagles. Upon arriving back in the United States she started a Finance company, which grew throughout the Northwest. The turning point in her career came in 2006 with a role in Man in the Chair starring Christopher Plummer. She also served as a producer. This film motivated her to sell her finance company in 2008, so she could focus full time on her real passions acting and producing. She has recently completed a short film, Unfortunate Circumstances that she co-wrote, produced and starred in opposite Gena Rowlands. She also appeared in The Tribes of Palos Verdes starring Jennifer Garner and Maika Monroe. Recently she was cast as Shelly Lawson and starred in the film Not Alone also starring Richard Lawson. She also was asked to sing the song Look Too the Stars which plays during the end credits of the movie Not Alone. Due to that she is now recording more songs at the request of her agent. A lover of animals, family, friends, veterans, singing and elderly she is very passionate and philanthropic. So much so that she founded FACE Foundation that is active in supporting numerous charities. Faith And Charity Everyday.
