Oisin Kearney

After studying Politics at the University of Cambridge, Oisín completed the Aim High production scheme run by BBC Northern Ireland, Northern Ireland Screen and Creative Skillset. He worked on Factual productions for BBC and RTE, shot and edited a short film with BAFTA-winning cinematographer Marcus Robinson, and writes and directs for theatre. Oisín produced and directed the short documentaries 'All For Show' (BBC NI True North) on a female bodybuilder's quest to be the best, 'BBEYOND' (BBC Arts Show) following performance artists processing trauma from the Northern Ireland conflict, and 'BORDERLANDS' (De Correspondent), a personal exploration of the potential effects of Brexit on the Irish border.
