Jonathan entered the industry in the early 90's working on movies like Interview with the Vampire, Braveheart and Mission Impossible 1 as he climbed the production ladder. In 1997 Jonathan produced his first movie with the award winning TIme Enough starring Dexter Fletcher and has since gone onto produce 24 movies including The Truth Game starring Paul Blackthorne, In Your Dreams with Linda Hamilton, Re-Uniting The Rubins with Timothy Spall and Booked Out with Sylvia Syms. Jonathan has shot extensively around the world including 3 movies in Hong Kong, a movie in China and a movie in Japan. His hit film The Brasserie went on to become the 5th highest grossing film in Asia of 2001 grossing $38m. Jonathan was also the first ever Western Producer to shoot a Chinese movie in China with the hit movie Life, Translated starring Edison Chen and John Foo. In the world of commercials Jonathan has produced over 400 commercials including award winning spots for Orange, Gap, Nike & San Miguel Beer. Recently he has been Producing commercials with commercial & filmmaking legend, Tony Kaye while they develop feature films together. Jonathan's recent commercials include spots for Cooperative Bank directed by Tony Kaye and Huawei mobile phones starring Gal Gadot. Jonathan founded the Production and Financing company Balagan Productions in 2001 and they continue to finance and produce movies for the international market.
