Michael Willis spent 7 years in the United States Air Force, and saw duty in Vietnam in 1970 - 71 and The Republic of Korea from 1974 - 76. After working as a freelance writer and moonlighting in theatrical productions, he settled in as a company member of Washington D.C.'s Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company. The work of the Company, and several reviews in The New York Times, earned the Company's recognition in the International theatre community, and interest from agents in New York. Mr. Willis has been pursuing a career in television and motion pictures since 1994. He still writes ( he has a regional column in the trade publication "Backstage") and is married and has 3 children.
