Robert E. Wood is an artist, author and producer born in Vancouver, British Columbia in 1971. He is a third-generation artist who has painted professionally since 1989. Robert is adept at portraying a wide variety of subject matter and his paintings sing with color, always depicting scenes he is dramatically inspired by. His book, "Destination: Moonbase Alpha - The Unofficial and Unauthorised Guide to Space: 1999", published in 2010, is the most comprehensive book ever published on the British cult-classic series. His other major published works include "Remember with Advantages" (as co-editor of the theatrical memoir of actor Barry Morse), "Stories of the Theatre", "Such Stuff As Dreams...", "Merely Players", "Valiant for Truth", "The Wit & Wisdom of Barry Morse", and "Anecdotes & Armadillos" (as editor of the theatrical memoir of actress Zienia Merton). In addition, Robert worked with British/Canadian actor Barry Morse on a number of projects, including as Associate Producer on Merely Players (2000) and numerous live stage presentations of this show in varied cities throughout the USA and Canada between 1996 and 2007, as well as with Barry Morse and Barbara Bain on the hit play "Love Letters." Since 2012, Robert has been working with the Canadian science fiction production company the 'Space Opera Society' as a writer, series creator, and producer.
