Stuntman and actor Walter Clarke Wyatt was born on March 31, 1939 in Kern County, California. Wyatt developed an interest in rodeo while growing up around horses and cattle in Bakersfield, California. Walter finished fourth in the country among steer wrestlers in 1966 and placed in the top ten for two other years. Moreover, Wyatt won most of the rodeos held annually in California for several years. Walter first started performing stunts in movies in the late 1960's. Sadly, Wyatt suffered from osteomyelitis (infection and inflammation of the bone), which led to his death at the tragically young age of 46 on March 7, 1986.
