Clifford E Wright, is a Director, Writer, Producer, Actor and Philanthropist. He is Executive Producer with David Peipers, Sundance Film Festival winning producer and Cannes Film Festival Directors Fortnight winner with "Slam" , of the feature film "Dirt Merchant" longest running film ever on the Showtime Channel, DVD's currently on Amazon.com, Producer of "Final Rinse", director or 2nd Unit Director on all associated films including directing talent for many TV Pilots he wrote. Currently, Mr. Wright is prepping his opus and much-touted project written and directed by him, "Modelizer", which is now in pre-production. A horror thriller with a social message. Partners include Joey Ramone, of the famous rock band "The Ramones", on the motion picture comedy " Final Rinse", which redefined "Spinal Tap" for a new generation. It was nominated for awards (Saturday Night Live actor comedians mixed with famous rock bands who get murdered in a black comedy kind of way like The Ramones, Sebastian Bach Skidrow, The Dictators, Insane Clown Posse, Big Little Men, Kelly Deal and the Breeders, Fun Lovin Criminals, who all get murdered with new haircuts fashioned by Orbe himself). He also produced with David Peipers("Slam"), Julie Benz (), Danny Masterson ("That 70s Show") and Anthony Michale Hall ("Sixteen Candles"). His films have been accepted into some of the world's major Film Festivals. Wright was born and raised in New York City. His indoctrination to the entertainment world began early in life. Between ski trips and weekends in Aspen and Miami, his family(Kathleen Porteous Wright wrote hit songs for Pat Boone and Carly Simon while his father Judge Edward Wright advised the Kennedy family, Averrill Harriman and wrote Bobby Kennedy's speech's) arranged backstage visits with notables such as Frank Sinatra, Boston, and Marlon Brando. He ended up a featured extra when he was young on "Coupe De Ville" and the acting/directing bug hit him hard. Clifford Wright used his National Merit Scholarship to open his mind and study at universities around the world. Learning fluent French and Russian, as well as decent Spanish. Clifford started his career on Wall Street with Drexel Burnham Lambert and Merrill Lynch. Clifford is also a leading photographer in commercial beauty and lifestyle. He owns production company Wright Media Capital Productions aka Wright Capital. With covers of Cosmopolitan Magazine, FHM, editorials in Harper's Bazaar, Ocean Drive, and Maxim he is a leading fashion photographer who captures mood and light energy with his engaging pictures. His photos have been used in the advertising campaigns for Salvador Dali perfume. He was represented by Cal Boyington at International Creative Management. Clifford has been writing/directing pilots for USA Networks and producers from the MTV channel. His sexy celebrity pictures combine glamour with the use of bright color and tones. His moving images feel timeless while staying fresh, modern and unique. Mr. Wright also manages a few writer/actor breakout stars. Wright went on to manage and/or serve as an Financial Advisor(Wright worked at Merrill Lynch and is Series 7, 63, 24, and 65 licensed for securities offerings) to a range of talents. In 2003, Wright sponsored St. Petersburg, Russia orphanage for the holidays and gave presents to every orphan and it is his keenest and most cherished moment. He partners with the charity "The Art of Elysium"( Amber Heard and Johny Depp's charity to provide art to young poor children) to throw an event at the Ritz Carlton Art Basel week 2015 for acclaimed artist Sara Von Kinneger. He continues to throw gala art fund raisers at his Tribeca loft for fund raising for CBD for patients with AIDS HIV or Lupus who can't afford ancillaries treatments with Arthouse Productions and Suzanne Perlman. The events were attended by many Victoria Secret and Sports Illustrated models and known actors. Mr. Wright is also the original investor and owner of Noah Models which discovered many supermodels and was merged into IMG Models. He is starting Noah Models again at the moment known as Revolution Management with Nathaniel Stevens, VC of Yodle fame. Mr. Wright is an accomplished fashion photographer shooting the cover of Russian Cosmopolitan Magia, Russian FHM, 6 covers of Perfect 10, editorials in Harper's Bazaar Espanol, Cosmopolitan Espanol, Maxim USA, Ocean Drive and 100 more magazines around the world. Mr. Wright was represented by ICM as a writer/director for TV pilots and distribution on self produced television fare as well. Wright founded Wright Media Capital and Wright Capital(which raises capital for hedge fund and venture capital investments) in 1998. Mr. Wright pattern is producing relatively inexpensive films that receive critical acclaim. Mr. Wright is involved in various charities around the world. Mr. Wright took a hiatus from the film world for many years concentrating on charitable work and photography. Wright is also is working with the Royal Family of Iran in developing a project about Princess Ashraf Pahlavi, the twin sister of the country's last shah, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, who was noteworthy for her support of women's rights.
