Daniel Yoon's first feature film, Post Concussion, received the Taos Land Grant award for best feature at the Taos Talking Pictures Festival (2000), and was the opening or closing night film at many Asian American film festivals that year. As of 2012, after a long gap, he is in post-production on his second feature, Low Budget Ethnic Movie (working title), filmed in Berkeley, California. Before becoming a filmmaker, Daniel had several different careers. He was an Outward Bound Instructor, teaching rock climbing and canoe expeditioning in Northern Ontario. He was an energy and environmental analyst in Washington, DC and Snowmass, Colorado, as well as a management consultant to Fortune 1000 companies with a leading consulting firm. Daniel received a BS in Engineering Physics with distinction and a BA in History summa cum laude in four and a half years from Cornell University, as well as an MPA from Princeton University.
