Lance Zakin

Lance was born in Nassau County, Long Island. He grew up in Suffolk County, Long Island residing in the Town of Brookhaven in his early childhood, and later the Town of Huntington during his adolescence. Lance attended college at Lehigh University for computer engineering, then moved to Manhattan. Although he was a high school track star (2:02 half mile) he joined the diving team in college - scoring points in the Patriot League championships. Lance started a technology company which invented several business software products sold globally and offers consulting services. He is a dog lover and owned 4 dogs since childhood. His family sold Magnolia's Bakery in 2007 and formerly owned Poppolini's Italian restaurant in Greenwich Village and Inca Grill in SoHo. His family has produced over 40 movies since 1996. Lance appeared on Discovery channel TV show "Cash Cab" (episode 123) for his 8 minute claim to fame, as well as, MTV Beach House hosted by Daisy Fuentes and Bill Bellamy. Lance is an exceptional dancer which was stimulated by his mother who won dance contests in her childhood. Lance's father was one of the engineers who built the Apollo 11 Lunar Module which landed on the moon in 1969 during the cold war.
