Carlos Zubiaga

Born in 1941 in Bilbao (Spain), this singer, producer and composer was part of the group "Los Mitos" from 1966 playing guitar and keyboards. Their major hit was the song "Es muy facil", released in 1969. In 1973 the group "Los Mitos" had disappeared, and he joined "Mocedades" when some members had left in December 1972. This same year, Mocedades participated in the Eurovision Song Contest with Eres tu, getting a second position after Luxembourg. He continued singing and playing guitar and keyboards in Mocedades for 15 years, until 1988 when he left the group having participated in 15 of their albums. During his stay in Mocedades, he wrote some of their songs such as Dibujando Amor in 1981. Between 1988 and 1993 he worked as producer creating the "Tio Pete" studios. Then in 1993 he joined some ex-members of Mocedades creating a new group called "El Consorcio", with whom he has been singing until today. They have released more than 5 albums since, the last one released in 2006 named "De ida y vuelta".
