Mikhail Zilberman

Mikhail Zilberman has been active in the film industry since 1978. For 10 years he was a staff line-producer at Gorky Film Studios; Russia's second largest film studio. In 1988 founded, together with the film director Vladimir Grammatikov, the film productions company Kontakt, one of the very first independent productions company's co-productions with the West. One of the project, being made as producer M.Zilberman "Russian Singer" (joint Russian- Denmark coproduction) was present at the competition Berlin Film Festival at 1993. M.Zilberman also acts as consultant to Russian and Western film and TV companies on co- productions and during filming in Russia. M.Zilberman is a member of the board of the Russian Union of Film makers, and a director of the Russian Guilde of Production Managers. In 1997 M.Zilberman became Deputy Managing Director of NTV-PROFIT Film Company.
