Nandy McClean

Nandy McClean is an actress, known for Moulin Rouge! (2001), Surfer, Dude (2008) and Invincible (2001). She is also known as a singer/dancer for the artist Prince, known for Prince Super bowl half time show! (2007), Brit Awards, Prince American Idol performance (2007) Prince Saturday Night Live performance (2007). Nandy McClean was also lead singer, along with her twin sister Maya McClean of band Heroine December who released their EP Target Practice and single Balloon in (2014). Nandy is executive producer of Prince's sexy music video "Breakfast Can Wait" (2013). She is also known for photographing the artist Prince, producing and directing promotional videos for Prince's last record "HitnRun." (2015). Nandy McClean is founder and director of production company NM FILMS (2014-Present). NM FILMS creates, develops and produces music videos, promotional content, and films that awaken the human condition. She uses visual story-telling, particularly focused on stories for minorities as a medium to create equality. She directed her first short film "Blind" that she also wrote, winning numerous awards at film festivals. In 2019 she directed India Arie's "Steady Love" video which was nominated for an NAACP award. Nandy had continued to create content for clients such as Jazmine Sutherland, Lifetime, Strong Black Lead and Nexflix into (2022).
