With 20 years of production experience, Jennifer Erwin has been involved in many facets of the entertainment business, producing a variety of award-winning and industry-changing television series. Her experience includes working at the executive level for international broadcast networks, as well as an independent producer and writer. After graduating from UCLA, Jennifer began interning for ICM at the Cannes Film Festival. Shortly after, she landed an assistant job at the William Morris Agency in the talent department. It was this experience at William Morris that helped Jennifer determine that production was where she wanted to take her career. She began assisting the Executive Producer of VH1's Behind the Music and after convincing the network to produce a Duran Duran episode, she was promoted to Associate Producer. After five years at MTV Networks, she went on to produce network hits such as Paradise Hotel and America's Next Top Model. With years of producing under her belt, she made the jump to the executive side as Director of Development for The CW network. With a strong interest in true crime, she obtained the rights to the number one best-seller about America's first FBI profiler entitled, Mindhunter (now on Netflix), and left the network to start, Jen X Productions (an homage to her Generation X). The last ten years have been the most exciting for Erwin, working closely with Mindhunter author, John Douglas, and bringing the most fascinating true crime stories to film and television. Current projects include, a New York crime drama with the creative team behind Ray Donovan and Appian Way producing; a psychological thriller, which she penned, entitled, Blink; a female driven, gritty true crime series entitled, Bad Land, with John Douglas producing and she's re-teaming with Duran Duran on a documentary as well as a feature film.
