Mr. Patterson graduated from Vassar College with a degree in film and immediately moved to Los Angeles where he started working on a number of low budget horror, crime and fantasy feature films - some of which were even released in the decade they were made! Soon after, he launched a pioneering comedy website, Ooze which won accolades (an exhibition in the New Museum of Contemporary Art), national press (NPR, Wired, Yahoo! Internet Life) which led to a variety of writing gigs for emerging technology publications ('net magazine, Internet Underground). After the publication of The Finger: A Comprehensive Guide to Flipping Off (reaching #75 on the Amazon Hot 100) and the launch of a viral Star Wars parody website (toolofsatan.org), Patterson and three fellow sketch comedy performers from Vassar, landed a TV development deal with FOX that evolved into a series of live multi-media stage shows revolving around viral prank videos. Patterson also started building websites and digital assets for a variety of movie studios before helping to launch Warner Archive - a boutique video label for Warner Bros. - where he stayed for 12 years shepherding over 3750 movies/TV shows to DVD, Blu-ray and Streaming.
