Joe Peracchio has written for DECEPTION on ABC, and previously for THE FLASH and THE MESSENGERS on the CW network. He is also part of the producing team for ESPN's 30for30 film TROJAN WAR, directed by Aaron Thomas. Joe received his MFA in writing for screen and television from USC's School of Cinematic Arts, where he is now an adjunct professor of television writing. He is a graduate of the Warner Brothers TV Writers Program, where he is also a guest instructor, is a writing/producing consultant in the television department at LA City College, and has been nominated for numerous awards including the Humanitas Prize. Joe played Mike Klink in The CW's acclaimed drama series EASY MONEY, from the producers of THE SOPRANOS/NORTHERN EXPOSURE/ CHICAGO MED, among many other screen roles, and has performed on regional stages across the US including Seattle Repertory Theatre, Playwrights Horizons, Cleveland Playhouse, Baltimore Theatre Project, Chicago's Prop Theatre, The Rubicon Theatre, and in many touring productions across Europe & Canada. He currently performs the role of Jackson Pollock in a new play by Juilliard's Moni Yakim and David D'Agostino. Joe is the Founding Artistic Director of Tricklock Company, professional touring company in residence at the University of New Mexico, creator of The Revolutions International Theatre Festival, founding producer of The Rubicon International Theatre Festival and California International Theatre Festivals, and is co-creator of the Free Speech Comedy Art Series with Paul Provenza. Originally from Connecticut, Joe grew up bilingual on the US/Mexico border and now lives in Los Angeles with his two daughters - both aspiring writers and actors themselves.
