Foster Boom

Foster Boom, Actor, Producer-Director, Foster Boom Productions. Foster has been an actress in film, TV and theater for 30 years. Her roles range from a dangerous psychopath to intergalactic traveler to drug addict. What drew Foster to acting and garnered rave reviews was her fascination with the rich, complex, and sometimes untrue stories we tell about ourselves. Foster has a rare gift: she can suspend judgment and find the thread of common humanity. After putting in hundreds of hours on the set and behind the scenes, Foster decided to use that gift to produce the compelling stories she wanted to tell. She prepared herself to launch Foster Boom Productions by directing scenes in Remembrance and Opposites and the shorts Hard to Believe and Happy 70th Don. She honed interviewing skills as a radio co-host and her eye for casting at a high-powered talent agency. She also taught acting from beginning to professional level classes and, in her spare time, wrote two screenplays. After an exhaustive search for characters in Las Vegas's seedy underbelly, Foster found the most compelling one, David Bell aka Diamond Dee, at her gym of all places. Her latest project, Transgender Vegas Style, is a reality show that brings together Diamond Dee and two other fascinating feisty characters from the transgender world in Vegas.
