Philippa is known as a Canadian theatre and film actor, and choreographer. She was born in Montreal , Quebec to Doctor Joan Keefler and James de B. Domville. Her mother is a marital and family therapist and her father James was an arts administrator whose work was vital to the growth of Canadian theatre and film. Among other accomplishments he co-founded The National Theatre School of Canada and was director general of the National Film Board. Philippa graduated with an Award of Honour from Westmount High School, received a B.A. from Acadia University, and graduated from The National Theatre School. She has worked in theatres across Canada, including the Stratford and Shaw Festivals. She has originated roles in over fifteen new Canadian plays including Margaret Atwood's Penelopiad. She has choreographed at the Stratford Festival, and the The Grand Theatre and for her own work with her company, Petit Jeu. Her first film was the Toronto Indie Production It All Happens Incredibly Fast (2002). She most recently played the role of Martha in the USA network production of Damnation (2017).
