Award winning, Philadelphia, PA born actor/writer /director Reggie Gaskins, began his acting career at the prestigious Freedom Theatre. It was there where he honed his skills as an actor, playwright and director. Upon his move to Los Angeles, Mr. Gaskins found success as a strong comedic actor, television/film writer, director and producer. His comedic timing landed him as the lead in the hilarious ABC Pilot "Go Sick." He has since starred in numerous TV Shows and Films including "Rizzoli & Isles", "Curb Your Enthusiasm", "90210", "EVE", and films "LET'S BE COPS", "FRIDAY AFTER NEXT", and "SHOWTIME" Mr. Gaskins was a writer and producer on the television show "The Tony Rock Project." He has also found success as an independent film writer, producer and director with his two award winning feature films "The Lying Truth" and "Restraining Order". Restraining Order earned Mr. Gaskins a NAACP Image Award Nomination for Outstanding Writing of a Feature Film. He is currently producing a powerful dramatic pilot presentation/short film about the prison system and it's affect on prisoners upon their release. Additionally, he's recently completed production on the powerful short film "Gritty" which he was hired to write, produce and direct. This powerful story about corruption within the prison system is based on a true story. He has also completed his sitcom pilot presentation "Child Support" and his hilarious romantic comedy feature film "Reggie Gaskins' Urban Love Story" Further, he has completed writing his romantic drama feature film entitled "Can This Love Last" and his faith based drama "What's the Point?" Lastly, he has written, produced and directed many short films and web series including the hilarious web series "Reggie's Family & Friends", and "Reggie Gaskins' Urban Love Story", the increasingly popular "Speaker of the House" as well as several others. His feature film "The Lying Truth" won Best Picture and Audience Choice award at the 2011 Hayti Heritage Film Festival and was a fan favorite at the 2011 Pan African Film Festival.
