Marilyn Anderson

Marilyn Anderson is an award-winning writer for film and television. She is Writer-Producer of the 2015 family film, How to Beat a Bully. Her romantic comedy film, "Making Mr. Right," , that she co-wrote, (aka Julie L. Saunders) aired on Lifetime Television. Marilyn was honored by the Writers Guild of America as a writer on the WGA's list of 101 Best Written TV Series over the past seven decades. She won a LUMINAS Award for the Positive Depiction of Women in film and television, presented by the organization Women in Film. Ms. Anderson has written for Murphy Brown, FAME, Sherman Oaks, and Friday the 13th - the Series, and she was on the writing staff for Carol & Company, starring Carol Burnett. Marilyn is the best-selling author of "How to Live Like a MILLIONAIRE When You're a Million Short." The book was featured in Forbes and USA Weekly and won an Award as the Best Book on Saving Money & Living Well of 2018. She is also author of the humorous relationship book, "Never Kiss a Frog: A Girl's Guide to Creatures from the Dating Swamp," published in 10 countries. She is writer-producer of two web series based on her books, and has a thriller novel, Dishonor Thy Father, to be published in 2020. In addition, Marilyn is an accomplished playwright. Her comedy about women and gender parity in Hollywood, As Good as Gold, is set for production in 2020. A romantic comedy feature that she wrote, Cold Feet, is also scheduled for production in 2020.
