Pola Mazur is a Polish American actress, singer, comedian and producer. She hails from Poland where she was known as a singer in the punk band "White Volcanoes." She appeared in a TV documentary "Punk in Poland," documenting a story of the punk movement in 1980's communist Poland, which since became a cult favorite in Poland. Pola studied acting in Amsterdam, and continued at the American Conservatory in San Francisco. During her stay in Bay Area she appeared in many theater productions and a few of independent films. One of them "Some Prefer Cake," screened in the 1998' Outfest Film Festival in Los Angeles. But mostly she focused her time and energy on developing her comedy abilities. Also, an accomplished comedian, Pola spent seventeen years performing in night clubs like the "Punch Line" "Laugh Factory", "Comedy Store", and "Ice House" amongst others. Her comedy routine inspired the Pilot script and Web-series on You-tube, which she co-created with her husband and partner Tom Needell. She acted, sang and did voice-over work in all episodes of "Polish Royalty and the Goat", as well as acted behind the scenes as a producer and social media promoter. The project received a recognition, as it won a prestigious 2013 Indie Fest Award of Merit for humor. She recently appeared together with Tom in a TV show "My Cat from Hell," which aired April 25, 2015 on Animal Planet. The episode is called "Bad Cat Karma" and chronicles couple problems with adopted cat Percy.
