Matthew Barrett

Matthew Barrett worked as an executive producer at the BBC between 2002 and 2008. He was a series producer on Horizon (1964) in the Science department at the BBC, and later worked in the History department at the BBC. Between 2008 and 2012 he worked at WGBH Boston, predominantly as a consultant on Nova (1974). Between 2008 and 2016 he was the creative director at World Media Rights (WMR), working on documentaries for the likes of the BBC, ITV, UKTV, ZDF, and Discovery. Between 2016 and 2020 he worked at Caravan Media as an executive producer, working on documentaries for the BBC, Channel 4 and National Geographic. He briefly worked as a development executive at Znak & Co between March and June 2021, and at Transistor Films between July and September 2021. In 2008 he started working at Jerusalem Productions as a director of the company and as an executive producer. As of December 2021 he's still working at Jerusalem Productions. He also has his own company Noonmark Productions.
