Michael Axelsson

Swedish writer and director Michael Axelsson is a self-taught filmmaker. He began at a very young age with the dream to become an actor. He later attended to a theater school and stunt school, and while persuading his dream as an actor he realized he had a need of telling his own stories. He decided to write and direct a short film, and the end result of that convinced him that he wanted to learn more about the filmmaking process and telling stories. After making a few short films in Sweden he later moved to Bergen, Norway, and that gave him the opportunity to work with films professionally.
