Third generation in show business, after Lucio Mario Dani and Leandro Castellani, Aldo E. Castellani is an actor, director and author. He debuted in awards winning Il coraggio di parlare (1987) and then he had a small role in Don Bosco (1988) alongside the legendary Ben Gazzara. In 1991 he acted in ...Se non avessi l'amore (1991) alongside Antonio Sabato Jr. and, a year later, in an episode of the tv series I padri della patria (1991). After a degree, "magna cum laude" in Science of Communication, he worked as assistant director and screenwriter in many tv series and docudramas like the award winning Ai confini del cielo (2004). He also started to work in theatre and after his debut in "Parenti e Serpenti" he wrote, directed and took part in the black comedy "Delitto in Palcoscenico" a caustic portrait of italian show business. A year later, alongside his friend and colleague Melania Fiore, he wrote, directed and acted in "Protect and Survive. Vivere e amare sotto la minaccia nucleare", a grotesque comedy about the infamous videos Protect and Survive (1976) produced by the British government during the late 1970s to inform British citizens on how to protect themselves during a nuclear attack.
