Donia Ben Jemia

Donia was born on June 14th in Cologne in Germany, growing up in Germany with a Tunisian/Arabic background she soon got interested in Culture, Literature, Theater and Cinema. Dreaming to become a Film Director she wrote her first Play at the age of 09 Years for a School play that she also directed and stared in as the Villain of the Story. At the Age of 12 she played the Prince in "Le Petit Prince" in her High school. At 18 she got discovered by an Agent in her final High school Play "Prinz von Homburg". Soon after signing the Agency Contract she got the Role of Lucy Vogt in the very popular Series "Marienhof". The Role Lucy was written for her after seeing her in a Casting for an other Role. Paralel to the Shooting of "Marienhof" in Munich she was Studying Cultural Science with special emphasis on Arabic and Jewish Literature. To continue her Studies she left the Marienhof in 2002 after 2 and halt Years and more then 150 Episodes. After some Theater work Donia came back to Television in 2004 in "Um Himmels Willen" the most Popular Series in Germany at that Time. She also stared in several Short films, Series and the Tv Movie "Weihnachten in Kaltenthal".
