Anil Baral

Anil's family is from Nepal, and he attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts for Film and Television. As a writer, Anil's awards include the New York Foundation for the Arts Screenplay Grant, the Asian Cinema Fund Grant, The Tribeca Institute & Sloan Foundation Screenplay Grant, and a winner on the Athena List, focusing on projects that have strong roles for women. He has participated in programs such as Film Independent's Producer's Lab & Fast Track, Tribeca Institute's All Access, IFP's No Borders, the PGA Diversity Workshop, the Rotterdam Lab, the Locarno Open Doors Consultancy, and the Frontières Market.
