Margie Compton

Margie Compton (Margaret Compton) has been the Film Archivist at the Walter J. Brown Media Archives & Peabody Awards Collection, University of Georgia Libraries, Athens, Georgia, since 2001. The archives preserves television, radio, and films from around the world and is the archives for entries submitted since 1940 for consideration of a Peabody Award for Excellence in Broadcasting. She received an Emmy for Andrew Young Presents: How We Got Over (2009).
