Carole Baillien

Carole Baillien is an actress and director born on January 10, 1968 in Brussels, Belgium. She has lived in Africa, (Kinshasa, Congo) from the age of 3 years old until her 18th birthday. She is the daughter of a Dutch painter and translator, niece of Til Brugman, a Dutch author, poet and linguist (The Stijl) ) and her father, a Belgian marketing director, specialized in wax java print textile in Africa. Carole is the eldest child, she has three younger sisters and one brother. Carole began her professional stage career in 1990 in Paris. She lives and works most of the time between Paris and Brussels.
