Anthony Bourdain

Anthony Bourdain was an American chef, writer, and television documentarian. Trained at the Culinary Institute of America, he worked in professional kitchens for decades, including as an executive chef in New York. He began publishing essays, fiction, and nonfiction in the late 1980s and transitioned to television in the early 2000s, hosting and producing culinary and travel series. He also served as a judge and narrator on multiple programs and collaborated with chefs and media professionals around the world. Bourdain died in 2018 at the age of 61.
