Scott Reed

Experienced producer and post supervisor who develops, casts, produces, posts, arranges financing and distribution for features, series, commercials, videos and live special events. Born in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, began piano lessons at age 3. At age (8) was an assistant to his Dad who acted in on "The Lords of Flatbush" and got to bring water on set. Three years later, the family moved to Beverly Hills and after attending Horace Mann Middle School, went on to Beverly Hills High, and spent the next four years studying music, art and theater most of the time. After High School, majored in piano and got to study with wonderful students and teachers at Cal Arts while working summers with friends as an extra on various studio and network features, series and live special events. After college began answering phones for a talent agency based in Beverly Hills that represented celebrity comedians like Leno, Seinfeld, Foxworthy, Ellen, Poundstone and many other famous and well known celebrities, actors and musicians. For the next five years, booked and produced celebrity comedians in various live special events. Went to work for Dick Clark as Director of Comedy, helping finance, book and produce live corporate events, ticketed casino shows, concerts, and other live and televised special events for almost three years. Starting in 1996, began managing the day to day duties for the EFX and newly built Creative Cafe' / Wilshire Stages post production sound stages, sound design and editorial facilities, providing academy award winning post production talent, facilities and services for live action and animated features as well as network series television, supervising the day to day on many projects during this time and working with some of the most successful directors, actors and producers. Six years later, formed That's Hollywood.Com, Inc. with producing partner Ron Singer (see credits).
