Gregory Zanfardino was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He entered into the entertainment industry when his company C1TV Entertainment Television brought the British cooking show Two Fat Ladies (1996) and the groundbreaking & controversial Original British Queer as Folk (1999) to the United States to launch a niche cable network. "We were at the table for the rights to Queer As Folk against HBO, the leading cabler at that time, and also it's then new rival Showtime. We acquired, aired, and distributed both seasons of the limited Russell T. Davies QAF series. Many years later, the American remake rights were sold to Showtime." The company later evolved to include feature films and became Alliance Filmworks and Television. In 2008, Alliance Filmworks and Television sold intellectual properties to Alliance Atlantis in Canada. Alliance Filmworks and Television was later re-branded as Moniker Entertainment. Gregory was also at Paramount Pictures for eight years. His time there included Creative, International Marketing, World Wide Digital Media Distribution, Home Entertainment, Post Production, Consumer Products, Studio Operations and Finance. He has served as a Board Member for the IFP (Independent Feature Project) aka Film Independent and as a juror for the Brazilian International Film Festival. He is also a story and script consultant for movies and television projects that deal with the subject of consciousness, as well as supernatural, metaphysical and spiritual components or story lines. Gregory is also employed as a comedy & drama script doctor and as an acting/booking coach.
