Paul Godfrey has been involved in the music industry for over 30 years. By the time he reached the age of 21 in 1993 Paul had created 'Morcheeba'. Principle songwriter and producer Paul led the group to global success with their blissful, bluesy, beat driven sound, selling over 10 million records worldwide. Their multi-platinum albums included 'Big Calm' and 'Charango', which spawned classic songs such as 'The Sea', and 'Otherwise'. Morcheeba's sound became one of the most sought after for synchronizations featuring in various feature films and classic TV series such as 'The Sopranos', 'Entourage', 'The Umbrella Academy', 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and 'True Blood', as well as enjoying placements in video games and hundreds of successful advertising campaigns. After connecting with Anthony Bourdain Paul created bespoke music for Anthony's spoken word piece 'Lisa' and appeared in the series 'No Reservations'. The group also garnered attention and praise from many of their musical heroes including David Byrne, who asked Paul to produce his 1997 'Feelings' LP. Paul has also worked with Iconic rappers Biz Markie, Big Daddy Kane, Slick Rick, and Mos Def plus world class singers Kurt Wagner, Jim White, Thomas Dydahl, Rachel Cuming and Judie Tzuke amongst others. Paul is constantly writing and producing new music. After returning from a chapter in France where Paul also collaborated with Janko Nilovic, he's now built a new recording studio in an old church near Hastings, U.K.
