The world-class billiards champion: 35 times World Champion, 61 times National Champion of Belgium, and 45 times Champion of Europe. Born in Belgium in 1937. Started to play at age 7 (in his father "cafe"). Won first world title at age 24 (1963), and kept it for an incredible 11 years in a row until Kobayashi beat him in 74. Won 'Mister 100' nickname after he won his 100th tournament. First player to break the 2.0 average in a tournament. Made a knight by the king of Belgium in 1997. Was inducted as BCA Member Hall of Fame in 2002. Recently (Dec 2007) republished his famous long out-of-print book: "Mister 100". Good friend with Ray Schuler; was one of his first customers. Played with Ray's cue for the longest time, at least until he introduced his own brand. Only Torbjorn Blomdhal has a chance to rival his lifetime achievement in the world of Billiards.
