David Capurso

While a film student at Hunter College in New York City he received multiple art grants for his student short film Emily's Song. The short film became a cult hit and was quickly picked up for distribution by Producer Gill Holland. The short was considered by IndieWire as one of the best short films in the Cineblast Vol. 3 compilation. David has directed numerous short films, music videos for Universal, Sony Music, Warner, and Palm Pictures, many which have been on the MTV international top ten, and a nomination at the Billboard Awards for best music video for a new artist. He has directed commercials for the US and the Spanish-language market including Unilever-Lipton, Bacardi, The Clorox Company, HBO Latino and Tommy Hilfiger. David has directed several projects of high regard. His 2011 Sci-fi short film, Against the Wall (distributed by GoDigital and licensed by G4TV a division of NBC Universal) has competed and been nominated in numerous film festivals in the U.S and U.K. He also received a Golden Palm Award at the 2012 Mexico International Film Festival for his short film, I am Julia.
