Mike was introduced to acting while attending high school (Malvern C.I.). He was cast as Riff in West Side Story and his experience in that production motivated him to pursue a career in acting. Mike studied Theatre at York University, where he majored in Directing. While at York, Mike directed his first play, David Mamet's Glengarry Glen Ross. He went on to found Rhythm Productions, producing, directing and writing numerous plays. Mike was cast as Gus in the phenomenal TV series, Orphan Black, where he played a recovering drug addict. His first feature film, Love...and Other Reasons to Panic, appeared at the Montreal World Film Festival. Mike continues to act in theatre, film and TV. He is also working on various scripts for TV, film and the stage. Mike is married and has two cats and a dog. He lives in Toronto, where he was born and raised.
