Gunnar Wille was born in 1946. He has been working with film, theatre and television since the early seventies. He has written, designed and produced six different television series. Written, designed and directed thirteen animated films. Written and dramatized eight series for radio. He has written and illustrated twenty-two books and they are read by most children in Denmark. In addition to this, Gunnar Wille has written and directed nine theatre plays. Written and made voice-over to eight tapes for cassette recorder, all dramatized versions off his books with very sophisticated sound track. Gunnar Wille has made computer animated experiment to make it possible to produce cheap, but at the same time, with a high quality finish, in broadcast quality. Since 1992 Gunnar Wille has been head of the animation department at The National Film School of Denmark. Became head of Danish National Academy of Digital, Interactive Entertainment in 2005 (www.dadiu.dk). Honorary office: Chairman of the cultural organization "Sterna Paradisae", member of the board of "the Museum of contemporary Art" in Roskilde and chairman of " the association of friends" for the same museum. Former honorary office: Chairman of the Illustrator Union, member of the board in The Danish Society of Authors and member of the board in The Danish Artist Committee. Member of Board of Directors in Cartoon, chairman of Cartoon Denmark and member of the Cartoon selection committee. Member of the board in The National Film Board of Denmark.
