Troy Cory

Troy started out in show business when he was in his late teens as a singing artist and song writer. He co-wrote songs with notables such as Sonny Bono, Robert B. Sherman and his brother Richard M. Sherman, along with his spouse at the time Dorothy. Sonny Bono was his A&R man in the 1950s, in helping to launch his career. Troy has three sons and one daughter, Priscilla Cory with his first spouse Dorothy. Troy has been married to Josie since the early 1970s. His daughter is Priscilla Cory who performed with Troy on his weekly television show, The Troy Cory Evening Show (1974) and numerous other entertainment ventures throughout the years. Troy has continued to produce more Troy Cory shows in the United States, Europe and in The Peoples Republic of China throughout the years. He was the first singing artist to be allowed to perform in China in 1988. His most recent show in China was in 2004, with some of The Hawaiian Tropic Girls and the owner, Ron Rice's daughter Sterling Rice. Troy's own back-up singers and dancers, known as The Brooke Sisters. In 1988 two of the six Brooke Sisters were Joey Lauren Adams and Angelica Bridges.
