Deb just finished work on the scintillating 2022 update to Queer As Folk, premiering this June on Peacock. In 2021, she helped keep Russian Doll historically hip and creatively non-linear, and cut several poignant and funny episodes of the Gen-Z LGBTQ+ series Genera+ion for HBOMAX. Just before the pandemic she helped craft the pilot for Genera+ion and was elated when it got its pickup. Her compulsive need to speak truth to power earned her a Consulting Producer credit on the FX series "Better Things," and her cutting there made Variety's "Top 25 Episodes of The Decade," among other accolades. An aficionada of sketch comedy her whole life, Deb honed her writing and character development skills at The Groundlings and Second City. She's been privileged to work with some of the best writers and directors in Hollywood, and has learned what it takes to make timeless television. Deb's interests include fighting misogyny, motorsports, LGBTQ rights, Premier League, sci-fi (written and filmed), ACFC, nature conservation, and almost anything historical.
