Dylan O'Brien

Born at the Jersey shore, Dylan cut his teeth working in film and live television while working his way through college. His passion to create beautiful images sent him across the country to Los Angeles to pursue his career as a cinematographer. In L.A., Dylan refined his skills and sharpened his eye working on television shows for Discovery, History, A&E, Nat Geo, PBS, and SpikeTV, while also shooting independent films. Throughout his career, Dylan has traveled the world and collaborated with directors to create unique programs and innovative shooting styles ranging from the "raw & intense" look of Raze, to the energetic "in your face" reality of Monster Garage, to the "get it done and make it beautiful" cinematography of 1000 Ways to Die. His work ethic demands untiring dedication and focus to bring the director's vision to life and his only rule is there are no problems, only solutions. Exploring advancements in filmmaking inspires Dylan to create visual styles that blend new technology with art in his cinematography. Without light there is only darkness and if it's dark, then it's just radio.
