Hassan (Babak) Badkoobeh was born on August 31, 1977, in Tehran, Iran in a cultural and artistic family. He studied film directing. He received his PhD degree from IPG University in France. He is an actor,filmmaker,producer, animation and movie director. Babak Badkoobeh is known for branding too. Babak Badkoobeh started his artistic activity from the age of 6 (1983) in the TV show "Bache Ha Ino Shenidid?", and became a famous and popular figure. His most famous television appearance is in the well-known series "Dar Khaneh" (1986), a joint work of Iranian directors Bijan Birang and Massoud Rassam. Babak badkoobeh continued his collaboration with Bijan Birang and Massoud Rassam in the series "Kodakaneh" (1988) and "Hamsaye ha" (1989). The film "Safare Jadoyee" (1991) is his first professional experience in cinema directed by Abolhassan Davoodi He starred in the movie "Ham Khaneh" directed by Mehrdad Farid in 2007. Babak Badkoobeh started producing animation in 2005 and until 2014 he produced more than 2500 minutes of animated series and movies. This statistic made him a professional producer in the field of animation and had domestic and international awards for him.
