Born and raised in Athens. He studied cinematography at the Lykourgos Stavrakos School, after graduating he collaborated with the Greek director Stratos Stasinos. He worked as his assistant on many productions including documentaries, feature films and commercials. He also worked as a cinematographer for over a decade. The last years, the latter of his focus is writing and directing.
