Wes Kelm

Wes Kelm has been a cinematographer, filmmaker, and educator for over twenty-five years. He began making his own narrative shorts in fifth grade on his father's Yashika regular 8mm movie camera while living abroad in Japan. After attending the Cinematography/Editing program at Pinewood Studios, England, and winning several awards for short films, he has shot commercials, shorts, features, and television programs. While teaching film at the University of California, Santa Barbara, he mentored numerous young filmmakers who have gone on to long careers in Hollywood. Wes and his wife Gloria live in Carpinteria, California.
