Isabel Echeverry is the founder of Kontakto. She started her career at ICM working with Jeff Berg and then moved to Reber Covington where she was a director's representative working with A list talent. Recognizing the huge potential in the Hispanic market, Isabel created a Hispanic division at the company that quickly experienced enormous success. In 2009, Echeverry opened Kontakto Reps-the "go-to" company in the US Hispanic advertising world. That roster is comprised of several powerhouse production companies such as Garage Films, Rosa Films, Fancy Content, Slim Pictures, Mutt Film, AlldayEveryday & Whitehouse Post. The roster of production companies represents an impressive array of award-winning directors. Every year, clients of Kontakto receive a numerous Cannes Lions, One Show, D&AD, Clio and many other awards. Isabel focuses on the integration of film and advertising. Additionally, Echeverry also wrote a feature film, based on her life's story which is currently in development and at one of the biggest talent agencies for packaging. The much-anticipated film will be produced under the Kontakto slate. Echeverry's ability to navigate the Hispanic and global market has proved invaluable on all the projects she is involved in and also promises great success in this ever-growing market. Isabel is a big believer in the concept of giving back and 'paying it forward'. While born in New York, Echeverry currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband and children. Her company Kontakto is a Latinx talent management firm focused on discovering and developing emerging diverse talent. Kontakto represents actors, writers, directors and other creatives and is developing a slate of feature films, scripted & unscripted TV projects that promote ethnic and cultural diversity.
