Two-time Emmy Award-nominated producer Phil Viardo's is currently the President and CEO of Former Prodigy Media, an entertainment company he co-founded in 2019 along with his long-time friend and client, actor Christopher Knight, but Viardo's extensive career has spanned decades of working in the various sectors of the entertainment industry. As a founder of Viardo Artists, a Beverly Hills-based entertainment firm specializing in talent and intellectual properly management, film and television production as well as publicity and product placement, Phil Viardo's vision was to unite key services of the entertainment industry, all working seamlessly within the framework of a progressive, idea-driven company. In the last 8 years, the company's focus shifted more towards production and so in In a partnership forged in 2013 with Tri-Crown Production Group and Natural 9 Entertainment, Phil became integral in growing the company's production and development slate with numerous non-scripted, documentary and scripted projects. As a part of that venture, Viardo assumed the position of Executive Vice President of Development & Talent for the production company, while Viardo Artists became Tri-Crown's de facto management wing. Phil and Natural 9 Entertainment first collaborated on producing "Chris & Adrianne Do Russia" for WEtv in 2007, and then again in 2009 as they co-created popular weekly internationally syndicated entertainment news program "Hollyscoop". Prior to starting Viardo Artists, Phil ran another boutique Hollywood house, The Viardo Agency, where the focus remained primarily on his varied talent clientele that over the years included such names as Christopher Knight (" The Brady Bunch"), Adrianne Curry ("America's Next Top Model", "Surreal Life"), Blu Cantrell (Grammy Nominated Artist), Michael Lombardi (FX's "Rescue Me"), Shaun Toub ("Iron Man", "Crash"), George Gray ("The Price Is Right") and numerous others, while also representing such entertainment brands as Madonna's Maverick Films, with whom Viardo also had a first look picture deal; RAW Entertainment, Trigger Street Productions and brands like "Von Dutch," "Antik Denim," Hollyscoop.com and electronics/graphics giant NVIDIA. With a central focus on film and television production, in the last six years Phil has been responsible for creating a non-fiction program development slate of hundreds of projects and several aired series. He also serves as an EP for an upcoming major feature film Hellfire Club, written by Jeffrey Hatcher (The Duchess, Casanova) and produced by Brian Oliver ("Black Swan," "Rush," "American Made"). Viardo continues to produce content for a variety of distributors while developing a number of his own TV & film passion projects, including a dramatic television series "Krimson Reign," and international sitcom "Masha From Russia," documentary feature film "Public Enemy Number One" produced alongside American rap icon and Television star Ice- T that made it's festival debut in 2019, as well as several new Independent Film projects. With the new venture in Former Prodigy Media, Viardo is currently in production on a new documentary feature film "Truelove: The Film" as well as several new television series projects slated for 2020.
