Matthew Krause was raised in the heartland of Kansas, earning his Bachelor's degree from Emporia State University and a Master's degree from Kansas State University. He has authored several screenplays, including 'Radical Evil', which placed in the quarterfinals of the Nicholl Fellowship, 'Play Action', which placed in the semifinals of the same competition, 'Boadicea, Warrior Queen of the Celts', which was sold to Paramount and is in development, and 'Baby's Breath', which he produced as an independent film. 'Play Action' also earned him a Screenwriting Fellowship with Walt Disney/ABC Studios in 2001. Matthew is also an author of a number of books, including 'Pitch', which won First Prize in the 2012 Balboa Press Fiction Writing Competition. His fantasy trilogy, 'The Glaring Chronicles,' which include the books 'Strays', 'Jackal', and 'Youngblood', have received positive response from readers, and their cult following continues to grow. Matthew has also co-authored the nonfiction reflection on '80s movies 'Two Men and a Little '80s' with David Cooper, his assistant director on 'Baby's Breath'. His future projects include 'Unbecoming', an espionage thriller set along the Cote d'Azur of France, and'Geek Pray Walkabout', a nonfiction memoir of his time in France researching the novel. He is also currently developing a modern-day reboot of 'Baby's Breath' for production.
